Day 0, Part II

To my relief, my train from Madrid to Pamplona was on time, as was my roommate Ana, who met me at the Pamplona station. Her novio (boyfriend) drove us the six or seven minutes to what I can now call “my” apartment. It’s lovely! Pre-trip Presentiment

In 12 hours (!!!) I begin my long journey to Spain. Car, bus, plane, taxi, train: I feel like I’m using every mode of transportation to get to what will be my home for the next five months.

Exam Week

How many blog posts have I written about my loathing of the sedentary lifestyle? I keep thinking maybe I’ll grow out of this dread of an office job. Why am I in college if it’s not to get a professional job, and how many professional jobs are out there where I won’t be sitting in front of a computer all day? Or most of the day. How much screen time can I stand?
