San Sebastián

Four hours was far from enough time to walk around the enchanting seaside city of San Sebastián today. The International Committee of UNAV planned the trip but gave us very little time to enjoy it; I’m absolutely going back.

Caminando por el Camino

Today I dragged myself out of bed (having stayed up to an unreasonable hour last night working to straighten out my class schedule) and dutifully attended the Official Welcome to International Students from the Government of the Kingdom of Navarra. On the walk there, I chatted with a boy from the Philippines, a boy from Nigeria, a girl from Germany and a girl from Ireland. At the event itself I happened to sit next to a boy from Argentina, which was cool. I hope to see him again to talk more.

Orientación

What a day! This is the big day of orientation that I wish I had gotten months ago, even though I still have huge questions lingering.

The Stairwell Adventure

I’ve been here for only one full day, and I’m already loving it. After I finished my last blog post, I met up with the four other UNC kids studying here in Pamplona. We convened at Brooke’s apartment, which is a 10-minute walk from mine. She and I both live very close to the university.
